Get access to medical advice, diagnosis and treatment via our platform. Connect with providers who are available when needed.

Our platform enables you to add your medication and set reminders. You can also enter health data that can be downloaded and shared.

Questions we are frequently asked

We no longer need to wait to get treated, while having sleepless nights until the doctors open the next day. Our providers are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week + after-hours every day (including Saturday and Sunday) – 365 days a year.

Doctoroo is a platform that is provided to deliver healthcare to Australians anytime, anywhere. We have a range of healthcare providers on our platform, who are qualified, experienced, insured and speak a range of languages.

You can sign up for free, choose a provider, select a suitable time, pay and confirm your booking. You’ll then receive a reminder 5 minutes before your consultation.

When we set out to make your healthcare easier, we knew that we could never replace a traditional, in-person consultation with providers, and we haven’t tried to. What we have done instead, is offer a complimentary service where you can use our platform for issues that don’t require physical examination.

It is completely free to signup on the platform. You’ll only need to pay when you book a provider. As one of Australia’s most affordable way to see a doctor online, consultations start from just $40, with the average consultation being around 5-6 minutes. For full pricing details, please visit our pricing page.

After making a booking and your provider confirming your consultation time, you’ll receive a notification 5 minutes prior to your consultation in order to prepare and be ready in a private sitting. Your provider will then call you via the doctoroo platform, and you’ll be able to see your provider face-to-face and exchange messages during the consultation. Your provider will ask you questions to confirm your identity and to diagnose your symptoms. You’ll then be provided with appropriate advice and treatment to help with your condition.

Our online consultation service allows you to see the doctor for a ran ge of conditions. Some of these include:
  • Joint Pain
  • Mental Health
  • Skin issues & Rashes
  • Travel Illness
  • Smoking Cessation
  • Sexual health
  • Ear problems
  • Eye problems
  • Stomach & digestive problems
  • Allergies
  • Colds, flu & RTI’s
  • Pregnancy conditions
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Bites and stings
  • Hair loss

Of course, being an online consultation, there are limitations and we highly recommend that you always visit the next available GP in person or call 000 for emergencies for any of these conditions:

  • Emergencies
  • Toxic/Poisonous Reactions
  • Serious Pain
  • Heavy Chest Pain or Tightness
  • Uncontrollable Bleeding
  • Severe Burns
  • High Fever
  • Others

Who can use doctoroo?

Anyone in Australia!

Doctoroo was built to make healthcare providers (doctors, specialists, allied health professionals & GPS’s) easily accessible and affordable for Australians who don’t have the time to travel to a doctor, wait for hours and then travel to the pharmacy, for something they could’ve easily done in a few minutes from their phones at home or the office.

Doctoroo also makes it easy for any Australians who are:

  • Anyone Aged 18+ – Parents and carers can create an account on behalf of minors, elderly or those unable to use our platform.
  • Housebound – Flexibility to use the platform from any location where there is internet connection – at home, the office or elsewhere.
  • Time-poor & busy – Life can be busy – and sometimes scheduling out the time to visit a provider can be difficult.
  • Remote areas – Those that live outside of metro cities know the difficulty of accessing healthcare when needed.
